Our Programs

At EduWell Empowerment Foundation, our programs are designed to address interconnected challenges in education, health, and youth empowerment. Each initiative is community-driven, scalable, and aligned with our mission to empower underserved populations across Nigeria.

There are 3 main categories of programs: EDUCATION SUPPORT & ACCESS PROGRAMS, HEALTH & WELL-BEING PROGRAMS, and YOUTH EMPOWERMENT & CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMS.

EDUCATION SUPPORT & ACCESS PROGRAMS

School Examination Support Initiative (SESI)

Focus: Exam readiness & equitable access
SESI supports pupils in underserved schools by providing essential examination materials and exam-day coordination. The program ensures that no child is excluded from examinations due to lack of basic supplies, while also supporting teachers during assessment periods.

Key Focus Areas:

  • School-based engagement and documentation
  • Distribution of exam writing materials
  • Volunteer exam-day support

Back-to-School Support Drive (BTSSD)

Focus: School re-enrollment & continuity 
BTSSD helps vulnerable children return to school at the beginning of academic sessions by providing basic learning materials and school readiness support.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Learning materials distribution
  • School enrollment support
  • Family and community engagement

Scholarship & Educational Support Fund (SESF)

Focus: School retention & completion       
SESF provides need-based scholarships and education grants to academically committed but financially disadvantaged students, ensuring they remain in school and complete their education.

Key Focus Areas:

  • School fees support
  • Exam fee assistance
  • Long-term academic tracking

Career Guidance & Counselling Outreach (CGCO)

Focus: Academic direction & life planning
CGCO equips students with information, motivation, and guidance to make informed academic and career decisions, especially at key transition stages.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Career talks and mentoring
  • Subject and career pathway guidance
  • Student motivation and goal setting

HEALTH & WELL-BEING PROGRAMS

Safe Spaces for Girls Initiative (SSGI)

Focus: Girls’ well-being & empowerment   
SSGI creates safe, supportive environments where girls can access health education, life skills, and mentorship, enabling them to remain confident and engaged in school.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Girls’ health education
  • Life skills and confidence building
  • Mentorship and peer support

Health & Hygiene for Schools Program (H2S)

Focus: Preventive health & hygiene awareness   
H2S promotes healthy school environments through hygiene education, basic health awareness, and distribution of essential hygiene materials.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Hygiene education sessions
  • School health awareness
  • Preventive health promotion

Health & Hygiene for Schools Program (H2S)

Focus: Preventive health & hygiene awareness

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT & CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMS

Teacher Capacity-Building Support Program (TCBSP)

Focus: Strengthening teaching quality      
TCBSP supports teachers through training, learning resources, and professional development aimed at improving classroom effectiveness and student outcomes.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Teacher training workshops
  • Instructional support materials
  • Professional development support

Youth Skills Acceleration Program (YSAP)

Focus: Employability & entrepreneurship 
YSAP equips young people with practical, market-relevant skills that enhance employability, entrepreneurship, and economic independence.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Digital and vocational skills training
  • Entrepreneurship development
  • Transition-to-work support

EduWell Volunteer & Leadership Program (EVLP)

Focus: Volunteer development & leadership       
EVLP builds a structured, values-driven volunteer ecosystem by recruiting, training, certifying, and deploying volunteers for community impact.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Volunteer onboarding and training
  • Leadership development
  • Community service placements
  • Recognition and certification
